MINISTERIAL STUDENTS

Currently we are developing programs for three kinds of students:

  1. Ministerial students: those students who are who are preparing for full or part time ministry.
  2. Ministers in transfer: pastors who are transferring into the Wesleyan Church from another denomination seeking ordination.
  3. Lay leaders: lay leaders who want to study a limited number of courses to be able to serve better in the local church and the district.

All students other than guests need to have on file at IBWWW.ORG the following documents:

  1. Student application. The student application solicits basic information and permission to verify references and ministry situation. The student must submit the application from his or here personnel email account.
  2. Letter of reference. The ministerial students will need a reference from their District Superintendent. Lay leaders need a reference from their Pastor. In each case the letter must come from the sender’s personal email.
  3. Mentor agreement. Many of the courses in the curriculum require supervised ministry. The mentor agrees to supervise the activity and fill out a feedback form mailed directly to IBWWW.ORG (see mentor in FAQS)

All three forms must be filled out completely and mailed by the appropriate person to admissions@ibwww.org

The student application must arrive from the students’ personal email. In addition the letter of reference must arrive from the District Superintendants or Pastors email account. The mentors agreement from must arrive from the mentors personal account. Part of the application process includes verification of the reference and availability of the mentor.

After you have been accepted as a student, you will be able to enroll in the courses currently offered.
